Equality issues in Wales: A research review

ReportsResourcesMarch 1st, 2009

The evidence on equality in Wales is fragmented and has not previously been collated or reviewed as a single body of knowledge: this report is the first comprehensive review of the evidence, from research and statistics, on equality in Wales.  The report systematically identifies evidence on the ‘protected characteristics’ of race, gender, disability, age, sexual orientation and religion, across the full range of subject areas – education, health and social care, housing, the economy and labour market, power and politics, and poverty and social exclusion.  Edited by Victoria Winckler, this collection is an essential read and resource for all those interested in equality issues.
